Tinder CEO Faye Iosotaluno to Step Down in July After Less Than a Year in Role
Tinder CEO Faye Iosotaluno will resign in July after less than a year in the role. Match Group CEO Spencer Rascoff will temporarily take over leadership as the company navigates strategic changes.

Iosotaluno Announces Departure via LinkedIn Post
Faye Iosotaluno, the CEO of Tinder, has announced she will step down from her position in July, according to a LinkedIn post she shared earlier this week. Her departure comes after less than one year in the CEO role and nearly eight years total at Tinder, which operates under the umbrella of Match Group.
“The consumer tech landscape is evolving in exciting, unpredictable ways — and so are my own ambitions,” she wrote. “I’m drawn to supporting the next generation of women leaders, founders, and investors.”
Iosotaluno expressed pride in the team she helped shape, stating that working with diverse voices led to stronger, more impactful decisions.
Match Group CEO to Take Over Leadership
Following her announcement, Match Group CEO Spencer Rascoff confirmed he will temporarily lead the Tinder team to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
“As I step in to lead the team, I’m energized by the momentum you’ve helped create,” Rascoff said in his statement. “I look forward to continuing to build with the exceptional leaders in place.”
Tinder Faces Restructuring Amid Growth Challenges
This leadership change comes amid broader structural shifts at Match Group. Earlier in May, the company announced a 13% reduction in its workforce as part of cost-cutting efforts. A substantial portion of those layoffs reportedly impacted Tinder, according to Bloomberg.
The company is currently exploring ways to reignite growth for Tinder, one of its flagship dating platforms, in a competitive and evolving consumer tech landscape.
